Cade Horton is an American personality who is famously known for being a baseball player. In 2021, Cade was assigned to the Oklahoma Sooners. He is a very aggressive base runner and rated as the No. 2 player in Oklahoma by Perfect Game. He is in the news because most recently in the mid-June season, ESPN2 reported that Cade takes the hill for the Sooners (43-22) against Notre Dame (41-15). In 2022, Horton began this season in the bullpen and at third base. He hasn’t been a regular in the field. He worked so hard and became the Sooners’ third starter behind Bennett and Sandlin. While playing for the postseason, Cade made the record of three straight quality starts: 5 ⅓ innings while standing against Texas, 6 ⅓ while standing against Florida, and 6 while standing against Virginia Tech. In those three starts, his earned run average is 2.55, with 25 strikeouts and just five walks. In July 20212, Horton got the start in the Big 12 Tournament Championship game against Texas. He recorded nine strikeouts and surrendered just two hits in 5.1 innings to lead the Sooners to an 8-1 win.
