Angourie Rice is a talented Australian film actress. She began her career as a child actress and is famously known for her roles in These Final Hours and The Nice Guys. Early life
Angourie was born on 1st January 2001 in Sydney, Australia to father Jeremy Rice and mother Kate Rice. Her father is a director and is known for his work in Trapped, Ocean Star, and Gorno: An American Tragedy. Whereas her mother is a writer and author of The Mozart Faction. She has a younger sister who goes by the name Kalliope Rice who is also an actress.
Angourie was born in Sydney but was brought up in Melbourne and previously she also lived in Perth for over five years and spent a year growing up in Munich, Germany before moving back to Melbourne. Living in Melbourne, Angourie attended Princes Hill Secondary College in Carlton North, Melbourne from where she graduated in 2018. Apart from this, not much is known about her education.

Angourie Rice began her acting career as a child actor and made her debut with the apocalyptic thriller film These Final Hours in 2013. Then she made an appearance in the animated film Walking with Dinosaurs. In 2014, Rice played the role of Lisa Wooton in the series The Doctor Blake Mysteries, and the same year she also was seen in Worst Year of My Life Again.
Angourie had her breakout performance in 2016 by performing as Holly March in action-comedy The Nice Guys opposite Ryan Gosling and Russell Crowe. Her other notable works include Nowhere Boys: The Book of Shadows, Mako: Island of Secrets, The Beguiled, and in Black Mirror. The next following year, Rice played Eliza Wishart in the Australian film adaptation of the novel Jasper Jones. The film received several AACTA nominations as well.
The same year, Angourie was signed with Marvel’s Entertainment and subsequently played Betty Brant in the 2017 film Spider-Man: Homecoming. Later in the 2019 sequel of the movie, she played a more significant role in Spider-Man: Far From Home and soon will also be seen in the third part of the film series. Apart from this, in 2018 she featured in the romantic drama Every Day and the film Ladies in Black.
Rice is playing the role of Betty Brant in the upcoming film Spider-Man: No Way Home and will be released on December 17, 2021. She is also playing the role of Siobhan Sheehan in the miniseries Mare of Easttown which was premiered in April 2021. In May 2021 it was announced that she will be joining the cast of Senior Year along with Justin Hartley.
