Adreian Payne was a 31-year-old American personality who was a professional basketball player. He played for several European teams and many others including Atlanta Hawks (2014-15), Fort Wayne Mad Ants (2014), Austin Spurs (2014-15), Minnesota Timberwolves (2015-17), Erie Bayhawks (2016), Orlando Magic (2016-18), Lakeland Magic (2017-18), Panathinaikos (2018), Nanjing Monkey Kings (2018-19), Panathinaikos (2019), ASVEL (2019-20), Ormanspor (2021) and finally with BC Juventus from December 2021 to February 2022. Adreian Payne played college basketball for the Michigan State Spartans.
Early Life
Adreian Payne was born on 19th February 1991 in Dayton, Ohio, and was raised by his loving and caring parents named Gloria Lewis (mother) and Thomas Payne (father). He went to Jefferson Township (Dayton, Ohio) where he received his primary education. He later went to Michigan State College from 2010 to 2014 followed by his overall pick by NBA (Atlanta Hawks) in the first round in 2014.
Adreian Payne Career
Payne was an active member of the All-Big Ten second team during the season 2013 and 2014. He earned 16.4 points, and 7.3 rebounds per game for the Spartans and led the team to the Elite Eight for the next season from 2013 to 2014. On 21st August 2017, Payne signed a two-way contract with Orlando Magic and as per the deal, he had to spend the majority of his season’s time with Orlando’s NBA G League affiliate, The Lakeland Magic.
Payne’s last appearance was with the Juventus Utena of the Lithuanian Basketball League, where he played the seasons and scored 8.6 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.1 steals per game. He parted ways from the team on 17th February 2022.
Death
Adreian Payne was born on 19th February 1991 and as of 2022, he was only 31 years old. He developed himself into a former Michigan State star and has worked with many other teams while being in the National Basketball Association (NBA). Payne was killed and shot dead in the early morning in Orlando, Florida on Monday, 9th May 2022. Immediately after the incident, he was transported to the hospital, where he was examined and pronounced dead after some time.
According to the sources, Payne was the 15th pick by the Atlanta Hawks and was drafted by the NBA draft in 2014 when he was only 23 years old. According to the local authorities, a man named Lawrence Dority has been arrested for the shooting suspect with a first-degree murder warrant. Dority was there at the scene and later became liable to speak to the police before he was transported to jail.

It is not known whether Payne was in a relationship with a girl named “Tara”. We couldn’t say if he was married before his demise or not, however, one thing is certain he was having a child who was around 4 years old in September 2021. This was evident from Payne’s tweet in September 2021 when he said that he was going to have a break from basketball and will be taking care of his 4-year-old son named Amari who was going through a brain procedure because of the hard-to-treat disease during the time.
