Darcey Silva is a popular American television personality, entrepreneur, clothing designer, and actress. She is best known for her role on TLC’s reality television shows Darcey and Stacey and 90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days. She rose to fame mainly due to the latter show mentioned above where she documented her journey with Dutch boyfriend Jesse Meester. But that wasn’t the Connecticut native’s first time on TV and it won’t be her last. Early Life
She was born on 23rd September 1974 in Middletown, Connecticut, the United States to Nancy and Mike Silva. Darcy has a twin sister too namely Stacey with whom she is currently running a reality TV series. She had a brother too but he tragically died of cancer on 11th July in 1998. Darcey studied at a private school but nothing more has been shared about her education and so details regarding her educational background have not been mentioned.
Darcey Silva Career
Both the twin sisters Stacey and Darcey co-founded a clothing brand called House of Eleven in 2012 together. Famous celebrities like Demi Lovato, Nicki Minaj, and Jessica Alba are one of their customers. Both sisters also have a production company called Eleventh Entertainment. They also served as co-executive producers with father, Mike, on the comedy film White T (2013), starring Jerod and Jamal Mixon. The multi-talented sisters provided background vocals for one song on White T as well. Eleventh Entertainment and AmVic Entertainment also produced the film Soul Ties (2015).
In 2018, the Silva sisters released their debut dance-pop song, called “Lock Your Number” followed up by their second song called “Always in My Heart” the next year which was a tribute to their late brother. On 29th June, Entertainment Weekly announced that the Silva sisters would be getting their own reality show namely ‘Darcey and Stacey’. The sisters then appeared in a photoshoot and an exclusive interview for Entertainment Weekly upon announcing the show. The series follows their family life, love, and relationships. She was a guest on Jenny McCarthy’s Sirius XM radio show in August 2020.
