Billy Horschel, also known by the name William John Horschel, is an American personality and a professional golfer. He plays for the PGA Tour and is currently tied for the leaderboard with Lucas Glover at Wyndham Championship. Billy has been struggling the whole year with his swing because he is yet to register a top-10 finish this year. Early Life
Billy Horschel was born on 7th December 1986 and he is 37 years old. He was brought up in Grant, Florida by his parents Billy Horschel Sr. and Kathy Horschel and he spent his childhood with his two brothers, Brian and Chris. Billy went to the Bayside High School in neighboring Palm Bay.
He received an athletic scholarship and went to the University of Florida where he received his training under the guidance of coach Buddy Alexander’s Florida Gators men’s golf team. Billy graduated from the University of Florida with a sports management degree in 2009. In 2007 and 2008, he represented the United States at the Palmer Cup. Then, he had a record of 3-1 and won the 2007 Walker Cup Team.
Billy Horschel Career
Billy Horschel, who turned professional in 2009, gained a PGA Tour Card in 2010 through qualifying school. After that, he had to go through a wrist injury and was limited to around four PGA Tours that particular year.
Billy had the second win at the 2014 BMW Championship, and eventually, he earned the 23rd ranking in the world ranking list. The following week, he won The Tour Championship at East Lake Golf Club, moving him to 14th place in the OWGR [Official World Ranking List].
In May 2017, Billy Horschel had the winning of the AT&T Byron Nelson event; then, in April 2018, he won the Zurich Classic of New Orleans while being partnered with Scott Piercy; in March 2021, he won the WGC-Dell Technologies Match Play, and this marked his first winning in the World Golf Championship.
After that year, Billy won the BMW PGA Championship, marking his second win in the European Tour. In June 2022, Billy Horschel won Memorial Tournament in Ohio, scoring his seventh winning at any PGA Tour.
In September 2022, he was selected for the 2022 Presidents Cup for the U.S. Team. In the competition, he won one match and lost two of the three games he played.

Billy Horschel is a happily living married man. He is married to Brittany Nelson; both have studied at the University of Florida and were golfers. The couple met when Brittany was just a junior in her golf years. But, she had to leave her golf games because of ongoing wrist injuries.
