Marian was born on 13th August 1985 to Chinese-American parents who immigrated to the USA. His family was living in Taiwan and later moved to the USA in the 1990s but he got robbed and lost his green card in the process. So instead of replacing a green card, it was much cheaper to apply for Citizenship.
