Zach Neto is a professional American baseball player whose full name is “Zachary Adam Neto.” He played college baseball for the Campbell Fighting Camels team. On 15th April 2023, he was selected for the Los Angeles Angels (LAA) and promoted to the major leagues for the first time, making him the first 2022 MLB draft class member to debut. He was ranked as the club’s No. 2 prospect per MLB Pipeline.

He started all 44 games for the Campbell Fighting Camels in the Big South Conference. Over 44 games, he batted .405 with 12 home runs, 58 RBIs, and 17 doubles. He played 16 games in the Cape Cod Baseball League with the Brewster Whitecaps.
Over 16 games, he batted .304 with three home runs, 10 RBIs, and four doubles. Also, he played for the North Adams team in NECFL (New England Collegiate Baseball League). He was named 2021 Big South Player of the Year and First-team all-Big South. Zach received honors as a Third-team freshman all-America.

He appeared in 53 games with 53 starts at shortstop. Over 53 games, he batted .407 with 15 home runs, 50 RBIs, and 23 doubles. After that, he was assigned to play for the Tri-City Dust Devils of the High-A Northwest League. He played seven games with the Tri-city team and batted .200 with one home run and 4 RBIs.
Later, he was promoted to play for the Rocket City Trash Pandas of the Double-A Southern League. With Rocket City, he played 30 games and batted .320 with four home runs, nine doubles, and 23 RBIs. He was the 2022 Big South Player of the Year.
