Tate Rosner McRae was born on 1st July 2003, making her 20 years old as of 2023. She was born in Calgary, Alberta, to her father and mother, who were Canadian but of different descent. Her father Todd McRae is of Scottish descent, and her mother Tanja Rosner is of German descent. She was only four years old when her family moved to Oman, where her mother started teaching her dance lessons, and the family lived there for around three years.

While in Oman, Tate Rosner McRae went to The American International School Muscat (TAISM) and began recreational dance training at the age of six. She returned to Calgary at the age of eight, and after that, she started seeking intensive dance training.

Then, she competed with Drewitz Dance Productions, and by the time she reached 11 years of age, she began training in all dance styles at YYC Dance Project, a company owned by her mother. She also went under the training of other dance forms, like ballet training at the School of Alberta Ballet. Tate McRae has worked as a voice artist and actor, has attended various dance shows, and has become a professional dancer. And is also a singer, released multiple songs with the help of different influencers. At Berlin State Ballet Company, Tate McRae won the silver medal as a soloist. Then, at the 2015 Youth America Grand Prix, she won a bronze medal for performing as a duet performer. Eventually, she received a two-week scholarship. 

Then, in June 2016, Tate McRae had a performance at Justin Bieber’s concert on the occasion of a world tour during Bieber’s performance of “Children”. Impressively, it was a big thing for all Canadians, though she was not voted as America’s favorite dancer. In October 2016, she danced again as part of the Jump Dance Convention troupe for The Ellen DeGeneres Show.

She released a song in 2017 called “One Day”. Eventually, she was caught by RCA Records in 2019, which led to the release of her debut EP, All the Things I Never Said (2020). Post-2020, she unveiled another single titled “You Broke Me First,” achieving international success. Her song secured the 17th position on the Billboard’s Top 100 list. Tate McRae released another single, Greedy, in 2023, which became the year’s success. She will release her “Think Later” studio album in 2023.
