Tara Stringfellow Biography

Tara Stringfellow is an American author and former lawyer. She started her career working as an attorney for various firms but later decided to pursue her dream of being a poet and author so she left her job and worked as an English Teacher. Recently she gained a lot of attention as on 5th April 2022 she released her debut novel named Memphis: A Joyous celebration of three generations of Black Women which talks about Black feminist work.

In August 2007,  Tara Stringfellow worked with Pentwater Capital Management as Trading Desk Assistant. Later in 2011, she worked as a Law Clerk at the Law Offices of Michael R. DiBenedetto. Next year she worked as a 7-11 Law Clerk with the Office of the Public Guardian- Domestic Relations Division in Chicago.

In October 2013 she worked as an Associate Attorney for Robert J. Semrad & Associates LLC. Next year she worked with NTP Wireless as Attorney at Law/ Site Acquisition Specialist. The same year she worked with Crown Castle as a Real Estate Specialist/ Attorney at Law.

In 2017 she worked with Northwestern University as a Real Estate Transaction Manager.  Next year at Shelby County School, she worked as an English Teacher. In 2019 she taught English at KIPP Memphis Collegiate Schools. The same year she worked as a Writer for Penguin Random House. She is very passionate to release her work and is working hard for the same.
