Shane McClanahan is an American personality who is a baseball player and plays as a pitcher for the Tampa Bay of Major League Baseball (MLB). He is new in the professional scene but still, so many experts already consider him as one of the best pitchers playing right now.

Shane McClanahan was born on 28th April 1997, making him around 25 years old. Shane was brought up by his father James “Clancy” McClanahan and his mother Lisa McClanahan who is a homemaker. He says that he was coached his whole life till high school by his father James, who used to be very hard on him and would praise other children, giving high-fives and making them feel great. Back in 2015 while getting drafted by the Major League Baseball Draft, he was selected by the New York Mets in the 26th round. But, instead of signing a contract with the Mets, he decided to attend the University of South Florida (USF) and play college baseball. Shane did not initiate his career in college freshman season 2016, instead, he underwent Tommy John surgery. He returned from his injury and began with 15 games in 2017 and played all the games as a redshirt freshman. He made the record of overall scores of 4-2 with a 3.20 ERA and 104 strikeouts and 76 innings. In 2018, Shane played as a redshirt sophomore and made the sophomore record of 5–6 with a 3.42 ERA in 14 starts.
