Sahith Theegala is an American personality who plays golf by profession. Sahith has been a three-time NCAA All-American personality at Pepperdine University where he is still working on his course majoring in sports administration. In his final years at Pepperdine University. Theegala won the Southwestern Invitational, the Australian Master of the Amateurs, and the Alister MacKenzie Invitational. He had to shortcut his educational and sports career because of the pandemic of 2019 which forced the season 2020 to end early and at the end of which Pepperdine University ranked at the top in the nation.
Professional Career
With the start of the 2020 season, Theegala won the title of the Ben Hogan Award, Haskins Award, and the Jack Nicklaus Award and became the fifth personality to achieve all these three titles the same year. Sahith Theegala began his professional debut in June 2020 at the age of 23 at the Outlaw Tour’s Lone Tree Classic where he achieved third place. He finished his match on T-14 at the 2020 Safeway Open on the PGA Tour. Later, he participated in T-19 at the Korn Ferry Tour event and the 2021 Chitimacha Louisiana Open.
He also participated in T-9 MGM Resorts Championship at Paiute and next finished T-4 at Nationwide Children’s Hospital Championship and thereby competed while being 6th at Korn Ferry Tour Championship. He made consecutive top 10 finishes in the Korn Ferry Tour Finals and secured a place for himself in the PGA Tour Card for the season 2021-22. Later, he attained his top-10 finish on the PGA Tour in October 2021 at Sanderson Farms Championship.
