Philip Murphy goes by the name “Murphy” is a young American singer who gained fame after participating in season 19 of the American singing reality show American Idol where he auditioned by singing “Just the Two of Us” by Bill Withers which was loved by all the judges and the audience and won a golden ticket to Hollywood.

He has not mentioned the name of his parents but once said that his dad was a big fan of Lionel Ritchie and also it was his dad who introduced him to Philip.
