Persia White was born on 25th October 1972 in Miami, Florida however, spent most of her childhood days in the Bahamas. The names of her parents and her siblings have not been under the limelight. According to sources, her mother was a teacher at school and her father met with a car accident due to which he was paralyzed. In search of better medical facilities, her father moved to Miami and two years later she went over there with her mother but was not able to meet. She did her schooling at Coconut Grove Children’s Theater and has studied dancing, acting, singing, and painting. When she completed high school, she obtained Screen Actors Guild from Ford Agency.

Persia decided to move to Los Angeles in order to pursue her career in acting. In 1994 she made her debut in a film called Blue Chips. In 1996 she made an appearance on TV series named NYPD Blue, Malibu Shores, Saved by the Bell: The New Class, Good Behavior, and Suddenly. The same year she worked in a named film Frankie D. Her work was very much appreciated in a TV series named Girlfriends where she was the main lead named Lynn Searcy. On 31st October 2009, she released a debut album named Mecca as it is her daughter’s name as well. The genre of music is Alternative and Trip Hop. A song named “Choices” was played on Girlfriends Season Finale. Apart from singing and acting in 2005, she has even released her own documentary called Earthlings which was narrated by Joaquin Phoenix.
