Nicolas was born with many face-related issues. He had a Cleft Lip and Palate and had to go through at least eleven different surgeries on his face. When Nicolas was at Braintree High School, he was titled Bay State League All-Star Basketball player. After that, he joined Towson State in Maryland. He is now playing NCAA Division 1 Men’s Basketball Tournament- the biggest stage for all basketball players.
Career
After transferring from Kimball Union Academy prep school in New Hampshire to Towson University in Maryland, he began playing and spent five seasons, from 2018 to 2023. In 2018, during his freshman debut game, he stood against Virginia and led Towson with a career-best three steals.
During his redshirt freshman season (2019 to 2020), he gained the title of ‘Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Sixth Man of The Year.’ Though his career was hampered because of COVID-19, he managed to play for 18 games during the COVID-19 pandemic season. Nicolas Timberlake has been praised many times by the ‘Colonial Athletic Association.’ he has received career honours like –
