According to a criminal complaint, Nicholas John Roske tried to kidnap, murder, or threaten the United States judge in the Supreme Court. The complaint also outlines the number of items the suspect was found within the neighborhood of the threatened judge Kavanaugh. The material included duct tape, zip ties, and a pistol and released the name of the suspect as Nicholas Roske or Nick Roske.
According to the affidavit the unsealed complaints in the affidavit state that:
The arrest of the suspect came after the Wisconsin judge was found zip-tied and murdered in his home by a man whom he sentenced years back and the incident came after the escalation of threats against the members of the US Supreme Court. The threat also came after the rising concern since the leak of the draft memo indicating the court saying that Kavanaugh may overturn Roe v. Wade.
This information made Roske angry and in addition, he started threatening the judge Kavanaugh who was supposed to loosen the gun control laws after the mass shootings, according to the affidavit. Kavanaugh is a conservative justice who President Donald Trump nominated after he confirmed the bruising nominations of the battle which included that a 35 years old tried to assault and sexually harass a woman while he was in high school. Nicholas John Roske said that he was giving his life a purpose by breaking into Judge Kavanaugh and killing him. According to the affidavit, the two United States Deputy Marshals saw an individual who was dressed in black and who came out of the taxi cab with a backpack and a suitcase. He was found coming out of the taxi cab in front of Judge Kavanaugh’s home. It was around 1:05 am on the date of 8th June 2022, when the suspect was found doing his actions.
The suspect Roske was arrested after he said that he wanted to give his life a purpose and he decided to kill the Supreme Court justice after finding his address on the internet. The affidavit also alleges that the suspect Roske got out of the taxi cab in front of the judge Kavanaugh’s residence, looked at the Marshals who were standing next to the parked vehicle, and then started walking down the street. Shortly after, the two marshals connected with the emergency communication center depicting the personality of Roske saying that he was having suicidal thoughts and had a firearm in his suitcase, according to the allegations in the complaint.

After he was taken into custody, Roske told that he was upset with the leaking of the recent Supreme Court draft decision which was related to the right to abortion and the recent school shooting in Uvalde, Texas. Roske also revealed that the judge whom he intended to kill believed that he would make second amendment decisions to loosen the gun control laws.
