Nathan Fillion is a Canadian-American actor. He is the lead actor in the movies Firefly, Serenity (sequence of Firefly), and Castle. Nathan is playing the role of John Nolan in the show The Rookie. He is also an executive producer of the show.

Nathan Fillion moved to New York in 1994. Before that, he used to work in theater, television, and film productions. After shifting to New York, he landed the role of Joey Buchanan in the soap opera One Life to Live. He left the show in 1997 and made a guest appearance in 2007. After moving to Los Angeles he got the role of Johnny Donelly.
