Melyssa Lombardi Biography

Melyssa Lombardi is the current head coach of Oregon’s softball team, having been appointed in 2018. She previously worked for 21 years under Oklahoma head coach Patty Gasso, including 11 seasons as associate head coach.

Lombardi coached Oregon to a successful season in 2021, finishing third in the Pac-12 and reaching an NCAA Regional final. The team was consistently ranked in the top 10 and achieved a high of No. 3 in the NFCA Coaches Poll halfway through the regular season.
