Marcus was born in 1984 in New York. He gained gain his higher education in college in 2000 when he first got himself enrolled at Blinn College. Later in 2001, he went to the University of Missouri-Columbia, where he studied till 2003. At the University of Missouri-Columbia, he received his education in Journalism, Spanish. After a brief period till 2011, he had a gap for receiving any other educational program. In 2011, he received his education in Russian Language and Literature from Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU).
Marcus Moore Career
Marcus began working for his professional life in 2000 while receiving his college education. He first gained the position of anchor/reporter at KBTX-TV, covering the general news, breaking news, and other assignments while filling in the responsibilities of an anchor. After a year, he started working as an anchor/reporter at KOMU-TV, where he served as a writer as well shooter, and worked on a weekly automotive segment called “KOMU’s Car Guy”. From 2003 to 2005, he worked with WAPT-TV in the same position and was given the responsibility of broadcasting daily and major stories including Hurricane Katrina’s landfall. While being at WAPT-TV he has also anchored weekend newscasts.
Later, he gave 6 years of his life to KMBC-TV while being hired at the position of general assignment reporter/anchor, and covered the general news, live shots for stations, reported on the automotive topics, including NASCAR and Indy Car Racing, and filled in the responsibilities of anchor for weekend morning newscasts. From January 2012 to September 2017, Marcus worked for WFAA as a reporter, and lastly, or at its latest, he is working with ABC News as National Correspondent since October 2017. It has been four years since he has been maintaining his position as National Correspondent with ABC News.
Marcus Moore has a long history of chasing the storm and covering Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Patricia in Mexico.
