Early Life
Lisa Lerer was born on 28th February 1980 and spent her childhood days in New York as well Pennsylvania. Ms. Lerer is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and also a Nieman fellow at Harvard University. Currently, she is residing in New York. Previous to joining The Times, Ms. Lerer was a national political writer at “The Associated Press”. She used to work as the lead reporter for the 2016 presidential race. She has also remained at different positions as a political and news reporter for different media outlets including Businessweek, The American Lawyer Magazine, Politico, Bloomberg News, and appears on television and radio for political reporting as an analyst. Lisa Lerer began her professional career while working as a reporter at The American Lawyer Magazine. She pursued the work for at least three years from 2004-2007. In 2007, she joined Politico as a staff reporter and continued her same position for another three years till 2010.
