The second was a flea market-themed television series which is currently airing on Great American Country called “Flea Market Flip.” Lara wrote her first book which was titled “I Brake for Yard Sales” which was a guide on how to create high- end looking rooms using hand finds. The book was published and released in April 2012.
In September 2013, she hosted the 87th Miss America pageant at the Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, along with Chris Harrison. The pageant was broadcasted on ABC on September 15, 2013, and returned to co-host Miss America in 2015.
