Kaylee Anne DeFer is an American former actress famously known for playing the role of Hillary Gold on The War At Home and Ivy Dickens on the teen drama Gossip Girl. She also runs two businesses, one is her own fashion chain Milkitla and the other is her food business “The Trencher Girls”.
Early life
Kaylee DeFer was born on September 23, 1986, in Tuscan, Arizona, the United States to father David DeFer and mother Cynthia DeFer. she is not the only kid in the family and has a brother named Link DeFer. Kaylee attended Pusch Ridge Christian Academy in Tucson. Her first ever role was in musical theatre when she was only 8 years old. In high school, she portrayed the main character of Kim MacAfee in the musical Bye Bye Birdie. While she was a teenager, she left her hometown and shifted to Los Angeles to pursue her lifelong dream of being an actress.

In 2003, when Kaylee was merely a teenager, she moved to Los Angeles to become a professional actress and achieve her dream. In March 2004 she made her debut with an appearance in the Nickelodeon sitcom Drake & Josh. Since then, Kaylee made a number of appearances on North Shore as Emily, in Quintuplets as Stephanie, and on The Mountain as Scarlett the following year. In 2005 she made her film debut by playing the role of Des in the action comedy film Underclassman. Kaylee. The same year she was also signed up for the role of Hillary Gold in the American sitcom The War at Home where she played the main role. DeFer was also seen in the drama film Flicka as Miranda Koop.
Subsequently, over the years, she was seen in television shows such as Shark as Katie Dobbs in 2007, in 2009 in the series Ghost Whisperer as Angie Halsenback and as Tory Payne in Bones, and finally in the drama series CSI: Miami as Valerie Metcalf. In 2010 she was seen on the sets of the popular comedy series How I Met Your Mother as Casey and the same following year she made her highlighting appearance in the teen drama Gossip Girl as Ivy Dickens/ Charlie, which made her the main character in season 6 of the series.
In 2011, Kaylee featured in three films named In My Pocket, Renegade and Red State, and also featured on an episode of Friends with Benefits as Mary Webber. Kaylee also made an appearance through her role as Rebecca White in the television film Layover. She was last seen in the role of Michelle in the film Darkroom. The actress has announced in May 2013, that she plans to take a break from acting after the birth of her son.

The two were not planning on a baby nor they were planning to marry anytime soon. However, on July 25, 2015, both of them tied the knot and now have three sons, Theodore Ignatius, Sebastian Danger, and Rémy Lincoln.
