Jordan Montgomery is the ace for the Texas Rangers in the MLB Season 2023. He gained recognition as a dominant pitcher in the game. Montgomery was picked by New York from South Carolina University in 2014. The New York Yankees chose Montgomery with the 122nd overall pick in the fourth round of the year 2014 Major League Baseball draft. He got a $424,000 signing bonus when he joined with the Yankees. He started with his first  Major League Baseball in the year 2017.

On 12 April 2017, the Yankees promoted Montgomery to the major leagues. In the major league as his first game, Montogomery gave up three rounds and struck out seven in four. In April 2017, Montgomery defeated the Chicago White Sox in his first major league game.

Montgomery recorded his career seven strikeouts against the Baltimore Orioles on 9th June 2017. The Yankees sent Montgomery to St. Louis. Cardinals on Aug. 14. Oct. 2, 2022, in exchange for Harrison Bader, a later player option, and cash. Wage arbitration was ordered to be avoided after agreeing to $10 million-a-month, one-year contracts.

The Texas Rangers received Montgomery and Chris Stratton in the trade of John King, Tekoah Roby, and Thomas Saggese from the Cardinals on July 30, 2023. In the American League Wild Card Series of 2023, Montgomery got the game began. Now he led his team to reach the World Series after the year 2011.
