With a remarkable track record, she has amassed an impressive 151-99 win-loss record, boasting a commendable winning percentage of .604. Her coaching tenure spans 12 seasons, during which she has achieved a stellar overall record of 441-206, equating to an exceptional winning percentage of .682.

Prior to joining Stanford, Allister spent seven successful seasons as the head coach at Minnesota. is the most prominent head coach of Stanford’s softball team. Allister played for Stanford and was named a 2nd team All-American in 2004 before playing professionally with the New England Riptide. Jessica Allister spent her childhood in several places due to her father’s work as an assistant basketball coach. She was born on 7th October 1982 when her father was studying at the University of Idaho and lived in numerous cities such as San Francisco Bay Area, Nevada, Reno, and Nacogdoches, Texas, where she attended high school while Derek worked as a head coach at Stephen F. Austin.

Allister had an outstanding career playing softball for Stanford University, setting a school record of 267 sports played. Allister led her team to four NCAA tournaments and two Women’s College World Series appearances. Jessica was named 2nd team NFCA All-American and first-team All-Pac-10 in 2004, her senior year, during which Stanford also made the Women’s College World Series. She graduated with top-three rankings in various offensive categories and a degree in economics in 2004.

Jessica played for the New England Riptide in 2004 and 2005, with a .197 batting average, 12 RBI, one home run, and a .988 fielding percentage. She began coaching at the University of Georgia under Lu Harris-Champer in 2005-06, where she aid lead the Bulldogs to consecutive NCAA tournament appearances and an SEC championship.

After playing for the Bulldogs in college, she joined the coaching staff at Stanford and helped lead them to success. In 2017, she returned to Stanford as head coach and led the team to improve over 2 seasons before COVID-19 caused the cancellation of their 3rd season together.
