Jeff Wise is recognized as an American author and famous television journalist. He specializes in aviation, adventure, and psychology. He also worked as a film producer and produced the American documentary: Gringo: The Dangerous Life of John McAfee (2016), directed by Nanette Burstein, telecast on Showtime.

He has also written for magazines like The New York Times Magazine, Men’s Health, Nautilus, National Geographic Adventure, Men’s Journal, Esquire, Elle, and many others. From 2005 – Jun 2014, he worked as a Contributor Editor for Popular Mechanics magazine. There he wrote feature articles on science, technology, and aviation.

Meanwhile, he worked for Travel + Leisure as a Contributor Editor and wrote feature articles primarily focusing on adventure travel. In 2015, he wrote two shorter electronic publications. The first one is The Plane That Wasn’t There: Why We Haven’t Found MH370 (2015). The second is Fatal Descent: Andreas Lubitz and the Crash of Germanwings Flight 9525 (2015). On 3rd March 2019, The Yellow cabin Press published his book “The Taking of MH370” (193 pages).
