Gaspard Ulliel was an aspiring and renowned French actor. He died in an accident on 19th January 2022. He was 37 at the time of his death. Ulliel was known for portraying a few of the significant roles like Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising (2007) and fashion mogul Yves Saint Laurent in the biopic Saint Laurent (2014) and many more. Gaspard Ulliel was born on 25th November 1984, and as of 2021, he was 37 years old. He was brought up in Boulogne-Billancourt to a Christine family and the runway show producer Serge Ulliel who was also a stylist by profession. Gaspard had a scar on his left cheek. The scar was produced in an attempt when he was attacked by a Doberman while he was on the ride with a dog whom he was treating or riding with like a horse at the age of six. He once claimed that the scar increased his emotion for the acting because the scar looked like a dimple. Gaspard was also described in a newspaper called Libération where he was listed under the title of “most famous scar in French cinema”. He went to the University of Saint-Denis from where he received a degree in Cinema.

Gaspard Ulliel began acting when he was still in school. For the first time, he appeared for the film Une Femme En Blanc which was about to be telecast on French television. Later, he performed at the Cours Florent where his acting and skills were noted by the famous and most astonishing director of that time André Téchiné, known for the film Les égarés. Gaspard started getting regular roles in made-for-television films during the late 1990s and early 2000s. He soon began to be known as an aspiring actor in France. He also starred in the movie Hannibal Rising, which was the first English language film.
In 2014, Gaspard portrayed the role of fashion designer Yves Saint Laurent in the biopic film called Saint Laurent. His performance in the film made him earn the Lumières Award for Best Actor and nomination for Cesar and Globe de Cristal best actor awards. Later in 2016, he got two roles in the two films. One of the roles was in Xavier Dolan’s It’s Only the End of the World and another one was in Stéphanie Di Giusto’s The Dancer. Personal life
Gaspard Ulliel first came into a love relationship with the actress Cécile Cassel. The couple dated each other for a few years from 2005 to 2007. Later, he dated briefly with Charlotte Casiraghi in 2007 and then with Jordane Crantelle from 2008 to 2013. After 2013, he came into a relationship with the French model and singer named Gaëlle Pietri. On 9th November 2015, it was announced that the couple is pregnant with their first child. Later, a son was born on 12th January 2016. He died in a skiing accident on 19th January 2022 at La Rosière resort in Savoie, France.

Gaspard was enjoying skiing in the Savoie region on Tuesday when a tragedy happened. He met with an accident with another person and due to this, he suffered serious injuries. According to reports, he had severe brain trauma and was airlifted to the hospital in Grenoble for further treatment. As he wasn’t wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, his injuries were critical and he lost the battle of life the very next day. His death was announced just a day after releasing Marvel’s upcoming series “Moon Light” where he was playing the role of Midnight Man.
