Early Life
Dylan Delucia was born to his adoring parents on August 1, 2000. His mother, Larry, and father, Nicole DeLucia, raised him and spent most of his childhood in Port Orange, Florida, alongside his four brothers. Dylan completed his high school education at New Smyrna Beach High School in New Smyrna Beach, Florida. Later, in order to further his studies and secure his future, he enrolled in Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida. In the fall of 2019, he enrolled at the College of Charleston.

When Dylan Delucia was a senior in high school, he began his career. He was taught the value of long, productive starts while he was in secondary school. He is a junior at Ole Miss. According to one of his mentors, pitchers in school get really involved in the games. Seven games were to be the standard, not the exception. The young rival at that time acknowledged that example, and he continues to value it today. At Northwest Florida State College in Niceville, Florida, DeLucia spent two seasons as a junior. He was chosen to the second and first all-state teams, respectively. The baseball pitcher made 16 starts in 14 outings as a rookie, finishing 9-2. In 87.0 innings, he had a 2.48 ERA and 119 strikeouts.
Rise to Fame
With one save, he had a 6-0 record, he went 40.0 innings, had a 0.67 ERA, and struck out 44 batters. Dylan, a four-year letter winner at New Smyrna Beach High School in New Smyrna Beach, Florida, was ranked No. 21 among right-handed pitchers and No. 70 overall in Florida by Perfect Game. DeLucia described pitching as a task, and his goal is to play consistently and give his team a chance to win. The velocity of his pitching with a fastball that travels at 87–88 mph and is heavy down in the zone, he attacks batters while pitching quickly.
He has a powerful lower body, excellent leg drive, landings in line, and an amazingly functional arm. The pitcher displayed a stronger-than-expected, short, powerful slider at 80-81 mph. DeLucia promised to throw his slider three times, the first of which is a powerful pitch for hitting and the second of which appears to be a shaper for left-handed hitters. Rebel Walk claimed that the 21-year-old uses his pointer finger to provide more pressure when facing right-handed opponents and his center finger to alter the flat force when facing left-handed opponents.
