Daniel Gil, also known as Kingdom Ninja, competed on the American Ninja Warrior 7 to season 13 and last in the recently held season 15 [that began on 5th June 2023]. Daniel Gil has competed in every season and has qualified for the Vegas finals in every season. He has also participated and competed in Ninja Vs. Ninja as the team captain [Iron Grip] and season two or three of Ninja Vs. Ninja, where he and his team made it to finals before getting knocked out.

At present, Daniel Gil holds a role as a motivational speaker and trainer at Iron Sports Gym located in Houston, Texas. It is the same gym where he trains himself for the practices of the American Ninja Warrior competition.

Early Life

Daniel Gil was born on 13th May 1993 in Houston, Texas, USA. He was nicknamed Kingdom Ninja and went to All Nations School of Ministry. After that, he became the worship leader for Houston Worship Center. Daniel is one of the four children born to his parents; his other three siblings’ names include Matthew, Lena, and Emily.

Gil has remained a ninja athlete, a 2020 World champion, and the five-time national finalist for American Ninja Warrior. He is a regular on the popular TV show American Ninja Warrior, where he participated from season 7 to season 13 and most recently appeared in season 15. In season 8 of American Ninja Warrior, there were only two competitors who beat Stage 2 in the national finals, and Daniel was one among those. He was one of only a few competitors who won mega wall both years.

Daniel Gil is also a worship leader, singer, and trainer at Sam Sann’s Iron Sports gym, where he practices his American Ninja Warrior Games. Daniel was not old enough to compete on season 6 of American Ninja Warrior [as his 21st birthday came after the qualifying round]. Still, he was shown in the crowd and received the support of his trainer, Sam Sann.

Daniel returned to the show after qualifying in the third round as the last runner. He conquered the Lasso Launch round, where he stood against Jody Avila, finished faster than 1:20, and then crossed the Mega Wall round. Eventually, he became the second ninja to conquer both the rounds and the second personality to do the same three times. Daniel has also advanced to national finals after he jumped over the Beehive in the last round.
