Daniel Ciarrocchi is the new contestant on the show Jeopardy! Who belongs to Owings Mills High School and is nearly 36 years old. He stood against the retired system analyst and an attorney from California. He showed smartness when he wagered almost $7K in the English Literature round and won the Final Jeopardy Round against the other contestants. The other contestants were named Toni Van Kampen and Madeleine McKenna.

Daniel Ciarrocchi, who is 36 years old as of 2023, is a graduate student of Owings Mills High School (August 2001 to May 2005), Loyola University Maryland (Mass Communication; 2005 to 2007), and Towson University (Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication; 2010 to 2012). His father is Alburt “Chubby” Ciarrocchi, who died in December 2021; his mother is Evelyn Ciarrocchi, who died in 2011. His brother is Barry Ciarrocchi and he has two sisters Anna Marie Ciarrocchi and Donna Kirby.

Per his LinkedIn profile, Daniel began writing and working as a professional columnist in 2010 for Bleacher Report. During this time (2010 to 2012), he was responsible for the NFL columns, free agency work, drafts, fantasy football, and post-game analysts. From March 2011 to September 2012, he was hired as a “Beat reporter for Towson University baseball” for “The Towerlight”. During that time, he attended all home games interviews and the recap of the games.

After this, Daniel started working mainly as a writer while coping with the editor’s responsibilities. He was hired as the Fantasy Football Writer for PFF (February 2012 to March 2014) as a part-time writer. After that, he worked as a contractual writer for SB Nation as Fantasy News Desk Writer. He bagged the total winning amount of $16,001 after wagering $7,201 on the English literature question. He said he had to read encyclopedias and almanacs to prepare for the show. Dan would also not miss the chance to go through the clues called “J! Archive,” created by fans of the show. Also, Monday’s episode was rare because it saw no returning champion from the previous episode. It is exciting to see how the game unfolds on the second day, i.e., Tuesday, 18th April 2023.
