Cynthia Monteleone has been a former athletic performer who belongs to the United States. She has won world championships and has also been the winner of 400 meters world championships, along with the representative of Team USA in the masters’ competition. Despite all her athletic performances, she has defeated transgender runner Yanelle Del Mar Zape at the World Masters Athletic Championships 2018 and took first place. One of Cynthia’s daughters, Margaret Oneal Monteleone is currently studying at St. Anthony School in Maui Hawaii and where Cynthia is working as a teacher. During her senior years, Margaret has to compete against a biological male who transformed into a female. The mother-daughter duo criticized the unfair treatment caused to Margaret and came forward to speak about the male-bodied athletes. The woman says that if male-bodied athletes will continue to compete on the female track and teams it will end the women’s sports. The discussion surrounded the controversy and led the swimmer and transgender athlete Lia Thomas, 22, to come into the picture. Lia Thomas, who identified himself as a female, competed at the University of Pennsylvania and shattered the women’s record at the school.

Thomas was earlier competing for continuously three years at Penn as a man before transition. Recently on 17th February 2022, the Penn swimmer Thomas won the 500-yard freestyle race at Ivy League Championship along with Cynthia’s daughter. It is not the fact that her daughter came in second place but the duo witnessed injustice to the families of females. Cynthia Monteleone said that males have larger physical advantages. They seem to have at least 12% faster capability of performing athletes than their female counterparts. She is being praised for her thoughts and statements. She showed her gratitude saying that she loves the support of her loved ones, coaches, and Team USA teammates including her club team.

Cynthia is a married personality who has been living life with her loving and caring husband Zane, with whom she has also developed a business venture. The pair have spent twenty years and Cynthia personally didn’t put the stress of running on the track; she left the track and field.
