Early Life

Colby Halter was born on 24th August 2001 and he grew up in Jacksonville, Florida. He was a four-year starter and a two-time team captain for the Crusaders, earning All-State honors as a junior and senior. He also played for Team USA’s 18U National Team in 2019, winning a silver medal at the WBSC U-18 Baseball World Cup in South Korea.

Halter was regarded as one of the top prospects in the 2020 MLB Draft, but he decided to skip it and fulfill his lifelong dream of playing for Florida.
