Early Life

Chris Eubanks was born on 5th May 1996 in Atlanta, Georgia under the parenthood of Mark and Carla Eubanks. He grew up with one older brother, Mark. His father coached him on a regular basis until he was 13 years old.

Parents

Christopher’s formative years in Atlanta profoundly influenced his growth, both personally and professionally. His parents, Mark and Carla, were ardent sports enthusiasts who passed on their passion to Christopher and his older brother. By actively participating in sports themselves, they imparted valuable lessons about dedication from an early age.

Even before he was able to play tennis, Christopher watched his father mentor his brother on the tennis court, fostering a strong bond with the sport since his early childhood. This early exposure laid the groundwork for his enduring connection with tennis throughout his upbringing.

After relocating from Atlanta to Chicago, he came close to Donald Young and his family and formed a deep bond with him. He started working out with Young’s parents, who run the South Fulton Tennis Centre close to where Eubanks lived, about the time he started high school. He also had the chance to train with Young, who was already ranked in the Top 100 on the ATP, at this time. Eubanks attributed his progress toward becoming a professional to these practice sessions.

Chris Eubanks Career

In his first three seasons, Eubanks played tennis for Georgia Tech. He competed in 27 dual matches, winning the top 18 of them, and he held the No. 53 singles ranking in the country. In his final season at Georgia Tech, he won eighteen matches and went 31-6 overall in singles.

He made his senior debut at the 2015 BB&T Atlanta Open but was defeated by Radek tpánek. Chris was given a wild card to the 2017 US Open, however, he was defeated by Dudi Sela in the opening round. He won his first Major as a qualifier by defeating Pedro Martnez at the 2022 US Open.
