Early Life
Bo Nix was born on 25th February 2000, in Pinson, Alabama, USA. He grew up in a white Christian family with his parents, Patrick Nix and Krista Chapman, and three siblings including one older sister Emma Grace and two younger siblings Sarah and Caleb. He spent most of his early life in his hometown Pinson, Alabama. Bo completed his high school education at Pinson Valley High School and graduated in the year 2019. He then went on to attend Auburn College and is currently pursuing his bachelor’s degree in Liberal arts. He is currently in his junior year and is also part of the college football team.
Bo Nix Career
Bo started his career in football in high school when he joined the school football team. He maintained a great record throughout the school years with a total of 161 touchdowns and 12000 offensive yards. He became one of the most promising prospects from his school and also won the Mr. Football Award by the end of his high school. By the end of his senior year, he was named as a four-star prospect by Scout and 247 Sports and as a five-star recruit by Rivals. He received offers from various universities but he decided to join Auburn College. His debut game in college football was against the Oregon team and he started off his freshman year as the starting quarterback in the 2019 season.
He led to team to win several matches that season and also led the team to record 9-4 records in 2019. He has been the starting quarterback for the team since his freshman year and has been in the position for the past two years. In 2020, he was also voted to be the team Captain and became one of the most significant players for the team. The same year, he received the Manning award star of the week and the Paul Hornung Award Honor roll for his performance. Recently in 2021, he is playing at the Citrus Bowl games with his college team but in a recent game against Penn State, his performance was not as expected and came with a lot of missed passes and narrow interceptions.
