After a year, Beverly moved to her home country, where she served as an assistant and coached the England senior squad under Phil Neville until she was appointed with Canada in 2020.
Then, in October 2020, she became the head coach of Canada’s women’s national soccer team. With her guidance and in her presence, the team won the gold medal in the Tokyo Olympics on 6th August 2021.

Beverly is an LGBTQ supporter and she is openly lesbian. She married Emma Humphries, who is currently coaching the U-17 squad of Canada and is also a former New Zealand International. The two met in New Zealand when Humphries was the national development manager and was there in her home nation.
