Adriana Harmeyer is an art archivist from West Lafayette, Indiana. With six consecutive wins on the Jeopardy stage, she has been performing exceptionally well since she arrived last week. Her recent victory secured her spot in the next Tournament of Champions. With 141 correct answers and only 13 incorrect ones, she relies on her extensive knowledge to achieve significant wins.
She prefers a risk-averse strategy, which is rare in today’s competitive landscape. Competing top-down, she avoids the Daily Double-hunting strategy popularized by James Holzhauer. Instead, Adriana has found only eight of the 18 hidden clues in her streak by not bouncing across the board.
Her approach allows other contestants to discover the Daily Doubles. Many, like Carol on Monday, end up making big bets and missing them. Adriana’s traditional style sets her apart and keeps her steady on her winning path.

Sharing her experience of being on Jeopardy!, Adriana Harmeyer said, “We watch it on TV, but being there in person was surreal. They’ve redesigned the set a few times over the years I have watched the show, but to see what you normally would on TV, like there is where the host stands, that’s the Jeopardy! podium, all of that alongside the chance to compete was just surreal.”
Adriana Harmeyer made her debut appearance on the show on the 29th May 2024 episode and won $26,200. At present, she is on a six-game win streak and won a hefty amount of $136,000.
