Fred was the first to receive this award as an executive producer.
In 2020, Fred also received the Hall of Fame for his excellence in his years-long sports T.V. and media career. Gaudelli has remained a 24-time Emmy award winner, and his Super Bowl XLIX is still ranked as the most-watched program in the whole U.S. of T.V. history, with average viewers of 114.4 million. In June 2016, he was promoted to NBC Sports’ executive producer for Sunday Night Football. He earned the honor of the lead producer for the network’s Thursday Night Football Series.

On 16th November 2017, Gaudelli and director Drew Esocoff presented the live coverage of the NFL game from SkyCam on NBC Sports. Three weeks earlier, on 22nd October, in Fred’s presence, NBC had coverage through SkyCam that further became widespread acclaim from the viewers. During that time, SkyCam was used during Sunday Night Football due to fog.
In the same game, fog rolled into Gillette Stadium in the first half when the teams had to rematch again. After the second half, because of SkyCam and the best angles or clear view, live action was shown on the T.V. Before joining Sunday Night Football, Fred Gaudelli worked as the producer for ABC’s Monday Night Football, where he spent five seasons.
Fred received a total of nine nominations for Monday Night Football as well as Super Bowl XXXVII shows for Emmy awards. He won at least four out of them. The best the two shows won included Outstanding Live Sports Series in 2004 for Monday Night Football.
