Maika was on 29th May 1993 in Santa Barbara, California to her mother Dixie, who is a sign language interpreter, and father Jack Buckley who is a construction worker. In June 2013, she signs up for a new psychological thriller movie “The Guests.” She becomes a part of the cast of the horror movie “It Follows” in 2014 through which she gains recognition worldwide and even secured her position as a scream queen.
