Misan Harriman was born in 1977 in Calabar, Nigeria. The details about his exact birth date have not been shared with the media. His father’s name is Hope Harriman while his mother’s name was Irene Ogedegbe. His siblings are seven and a half in total and their names are Tuoyo, Temi, Ete Ayida, and Bawo. After completing their education, he worked in the field of recruitment in the City of London. In 2016 he started an internet media agency titled What We See and the next year, he began photographing as he was self-taught. After gaining experience for a few years, he started working as a professional photographer in 2018. In 2019 he shot photographers of famous personalities like Meghan Markle, Rihanna, Stormzy, Olivia Colman, Tom Cruise, and others.
Along with that he also documented the Extinction Rebellion, Anti Trump protest, people living through Covid-19, Black lives matter, and other major events.
