She faced Elaina Maxwell at Strikeforce: Triple Threat on December 8, 2006, a fight she won again with a unanimous decision. She had a knack for proving critics wrong. This was first done in female Strikeforce and later in a Muay Thai bout. On 10th February 2007, she fought Showtime EliteXC card, defeating Julie Kedzie via unanimous decision in what was called the “Fight of the Night.” The fight was the first televised female fight on Showtime.
Television and Acting:
She starred in the ‘Cult’ film ‘Ring Girls’ in the year 2005 which is a fast-paced story about five American women from Las Vegas who take on the ultimate challenge of fighting the best Muay Thai fighters in the world. She appeared in Command & Conquer: Red Alert 3 and played the role of Natasha and was later appeared in ‘In the Blood ’which is an American thriller directed by John Stockwell. Gina co-starred ‘Fast and the Furious 6 ‘ as a member of Diplomatic Security Service or the DSS Special Agent Luke Hobbs’ team. In the year 2018 and in the month of December she was announced to be a part of the cast of The Mandalorian, Lucasfilm’s first live-action Star Wars series.
Controversy
In February 2021, she received a huge backlash and hate for her tweets and social media posts where she compared the US political environment with Nazi Germany.
