Brody Roybal is an American personality who plays ice sled hockey by profession. He belongs to Melrose Park, Illinois, where he spent his whole life until adulthood. He is a disabled personality who plays for Paralympics (got both legs missing). Roybal has won gold medals with his American team at both the events of 2014 Winter Paralympics and Winter Paralympics 2018.
Early Life
Brody Roybal was born on 25th May 1998 and as of 2022, he is merely 24 years old, who has discovered a long journey of his life with the achievement of two gold medals and the appearance at various paralympic events (2014, 2018, and 2022). Brody Roybal is the son of Robert and Michelle Roybal and was brought along with his one sibling named Spencer (brother). While growing up he developed skateboarding, gaming, and working out as his only hobbies. Roybal took up sports in 2006 at the age of 8 while being selected in the Chicago-based Hornets Youth Sled Hockey team.
Roybal went to West Leyden High School (Northlake, Ill.) ‘16 to receive his primary high school studies, and thereafter, he received his bachelor’s from the University of Arizona. Roybal was just 15 years old when he first participated in Paralympics for the 2014 U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team and thereby became one of the youngest personalities for the event. Roybal was born with no femurs in both legs, as a result, he developed no movement. While growing up, Roybal developed a passion for softball and basketball but later developed his interest in wrestling. His true passion appeared in front of the public when he started gaining limelight at age eight in 2006 while trying sled hockey.

With the continuous achievements and appearances in various events, Roybal earned the honor of being called 2015 March of Dimes Inspirational Athlete of the Year. Currently, he belongs to the Chicago Blackhawks, a professional ice hockey team. Roybal has remained a three-time Paralympian personality, appearing at the 2014 Paralympics (with the achievement of gold medal), 2018 Paralympics (with the achievement of gold medal), and 2022 Paralympics- in the first week of March 2022 in Beijing. The turning point happened in Roybal’s life when he injured one elbow and the other in a skateboarding accident, because of which he had to go through surgeries back in 2015.
After trying for several years in wrestling, he developed his passion for sled hockey. Later years, he started participating in Paralympics with his established USA team. He performed for the first time with the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team at the paralympic event of the 2013 – 2014 season. Not only this, but Roybal has also tried his hands at world championships starting from 2015 to 2021. He showed his presence at each of the 2015, 2017, 2019, and 2021 events achieving three gold medals and one silver medal. Roybal owes the membership of ARC Performance Team and later gained limelight when he was employed by DICK’s Sporting Goods as a member of their contender program.

Personal Life
It was in August 2021, when Brody Roybal revealed officially saying that he has been committed to his girlfriend Menecis Garriga, 23. The couple turned out to be official and started getting 40 million likes on their shared TikTok page. The pair met each other at the age of 4 when they attended the same school and lived near each other. The pair was together even when they appeared to study in high school and shared each other’s companionship at prom.
Roybal had to move to Arizona to go to college to study communications back in 2016, so the pair had to put their relationship on hold.
