Madison Chock was born in the town of Redondo Beach in the state of California; her birthdate is 2 July 1992. Novi High School was her alma mater. They won the World Junior Championships in Sofia, Bulgaria, to round up their season. The pair scored 10.40 points more than medal winners Maia Shibutani and Alex Shibutani. Chock/Zuerlein was promoted to the senior team.
They finished sixth at the 2009 Skate America & ninth at the 2009 Tournament of China in their Grand Prix debut. In January 2010, they placed 5th in the senior national debut.
