Caleb Williams is a quarterback for the USC Trojans of the PAC 12 conference in NCAA Division 1. He is a newcomer to the team and has already made a big impact in this tournament. Caleb Williams was born on 18th November 2001 in Washington, D.C., and belongs to mixed African and American ancestry. His parents are of African descent while and he is an American citizen. His father’s name is Carl while his mother’s name is Dayna Price and no details can be found about his siblings.

Williams went to Washington, D.C.’s Gonzaga College High School. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, his high school did not play football in his final year of 2020. Williams began his true freshman season at Oklahoma in 2021 as the backup quarterback behind Spencer Rattler before taking over as the starter midway through the Sooners’ sixth game of the season, a rivalry game against the Texas Longhorns. Oklahoma was down 17-35 in that game when Williams came in and guided the Sooners to a 55-48 triumph.

Williams had 212 passing yards and two passing touchdowns, as well as 88 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown. The following week, against Texas Christian University, Williams made his first start and threw for 295 yards and four touchdowns while also rushing for 66 yards and a touchdown as Oklahoma won 52-31.

Williams has completed 49 of 68 throws (72 percent) for 679 passing yards against Texas, TCU, and Kansas. In those games, he has rushed for 224 yards on 21 carries. As a result, Williams’ name continues to be linked to the Heisman Trophy. Paul Myerberg of USA TODAY ranked Williams sixth among quarterbacks to win the Heisman Trophy.
