Charlie was born on 14th October 1993 in Arlington Heights, Illinois. His father Robert Kirk worked as an architect manager, and his mother is a homemaker. Robert gained recognition for his work on the Trump Tower. Although he has siblings, their names aren’t mentioned, just like his mother’s name.
He often shares pictures with his grandmother on his Instagram account, indicating a close relationship. In his junior year in 2010, Kirk volunteered for the successful U.S. Senate campaign of Illinois Republican Mark Kirk (no relation between Charlie and Mark).
During his senior year in 2012, he wrote an essay for Breitbart News about liberal bias in high school textbooks. This led to an appearance on Fox Business Network. Further rumors, like the idea that social distancing measures in churches were a “Democratic plot against Christianity” and that patients in Wuhan were being burnt, were propagated by Kirk.
He also spread inaccurate information regarding the Obama administration’s response to the H1N1 swine flu pandemic, aiming to bolster the Trump administration’s handling of the COVID-19 crisis. In addition, he circulated erroneous claims about voter fraud.
In 2020, ProPublica’s investigation into Turning Point’s finances revealed biased audits and misleading financial claims by the organization. The report alleged that leaders were advocating for Trump and using the organization for personal enrichment.
