She is currently playing for the University of Maryland Women’s Basketball Team and was honored with Big Ten Sixth player of the year and All-Big Ten Freshman Team. Shyanne Sellers was born on the 25th of August and bought up in Aurora, Ohio. The names of her parents are Brad and Kymberly Sellers. She has three sisters whose names are Sydney, Syarra, and Shayla. Her family members are very athletic and grew up playing outdoor sports with them.

Shyanne has completed her high school education at a local school in Aurora. Later for her higher and further studies, she went to the University of Maryland and also played College basketball. She has earned majors in the field of Communication. Apart from her studies, she is receiving training in the field of playing basketball professionally.

In 2020 at Aurora High School, she had an average of 21.9 points, 10.6 rebounds, and 4.6 assists and led the team to the Division I district semifinals. She has been the lead scorer and reached 1,000 career points in the second game of her junior season.

According to ESPN in 2021 recruit she was ranked no. 22. As a freshman at the University of Maryland she averaged 7.7 points, 3.8 rebounds, 2.6 assists, and 1.8 steals in 26.5 minutes per game. In addition to that she led the team with 56 steals for the season. She played her matches against Indiana, Penn State, NC State, Miami, Rutgers, Stanford, Northwestern, Baylor, and many other teams.

In 2022 she is currently playing in NCAA woman’s basketball as a sophomore. she scored in double figures in 8 of 10 games. Along with that, she was named to Cheryl Miller Award Watch list. On 12 December 2022, she ensured the victory of the Maryland Terrapins to victory for the first time in school against a match with the University of Maryland.
