Tom Waes is a talented and famous Belgian actor, director, television presenter. His work is recognized by his audience and they love to watch him on screen. He is famous for his programs like Het Sex De Pauw, Tomtesterom, Wauters vs Waes and Tragger Hippy. He is also the ambassador of the non-profit organization Sea Shepherd whose mission is to protect marine life worldwide. Tom was born on 7th November, 1968 in Merksem, Belgium.

His original name is Tom Yvo Adrien Waes and likes to keep his personal life private and does not like sharing it on social media. Tom started his career by making films for De Quizmaster and The Last Show. He rose to fame because of his role as the brother of Bart De Pauw in Het Gender De Pauw in the year 2005. In partnership with Koen Van Impe and Jan Van Looveren he made the comedy TV program Tragger Hippy which was a super hit. Later in 2007 he was selected to be on the jury for the first series of the comedy Casino Cup.

The year 2009 was a great success for Tom where together with Sofie Van Moll, presenter of the One television program Hartelijke greetings aan everyone. He also hosted The One Man Show which was a late night quiz show on One. Tom also co-starred in the movie SM Judge. De Scammers on VT4 was his new program in the year 2010. As a director he was associated with movies like The Sex De Pauw, De Planckaerts, Zonnekinderen, De Quizmaster, Via Vanoudenhoven and Everything Comes Back.

Tom got his own TV show Tomtesterom in the year 2008. After the completion of the three seasons of Tomtesterom in the year 2012 he started a travel program Reizen. This was all about visiting dangerous and remarkable places. It is in its fourth season at present. He was part of many other programs during his entire career like Beste Friends, Nieuw Texaes, Echt niet OK and many other remarkable ones. In the year 2018 he made a parody of his schlager song Dos cervezas and called it Dva Vodka for the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. In the fiction series Undercover he played the lead male role.
