Froy Gutierrez also known as Froylan Gutierrez III is an American actor and Pop musician famous for his role of Nolan in the television series “Teen Wolf” and of Charlie in “Bella and the Bulldogs”. He is currently starred in the new Freeform production show “Cruel Summer”.
Early Life
Froy was born on 27th April 1998 in Highland Park, Texas, USA. He is of mixed ethnicity as his father is of Mexican ancestry. There is not much available about his mother. Froy follows Christianity and is currently 22 years old. He is bilingual and fluent in English and Spanish languages. He also has a younger brother named Henry and a sister but her name has not been revealed.
Education
Froy has not shared much about his early education but it is known that he attended the Booker T Washington High school for performing and visual arts. Froy started his career in 2015 when a casting agent encouraged him to submit audition tapes for various roles. He secured his debut role in the show “Bella and the Bulldogs” in 2015 and portrayed the character Charlie for three episodes till 2016. He also appeared briefly for two episodes in the show “The Goldbergs” in 2016. The following year, he appeared in the show “One day at a time” as Josh before he bagged the major breakthrough role of his career. He was cast in the famous show “Teen Wolf” in the recurring role of Nolan. His performance was highly praised and due to the huge popularity of the show, he gained a large audience and followers. The same year, he appeared in films like “A cowgirl’s story” and “The Halloween party”.
Later in 2018, he appeared in the show “Liza on-demand” for one episode and also appeared in the pilot episode of the 2019 show “Last Summer”. Meanwhile, in 2018, he also started making music and released his first single “Sideswipe”. The song received great success and was well received. More recently in 2019, he has appeared in the 2nd season “Light as a feather” streaming on Hulu. He released three more songs “Fix Me”, “Crash” and “when it’s midnight” under the album whose name is yet to be announced. In 2020, he appeared in the movie “Initiation” and currently starred in a Freeform production show “Cruel Summer” in the main role.
