Owen Hull was born on the 21st of July, 2004, in Alexandria, Virginia, USA. Owen is the son of Kate Hull and Jeff Hull and has a younger sister named Nora. Beyond baseball, he has a black belt in karate and enjoys activities such as fishing, boating, golf, basketball, and yoga.

Owen Hull started his collegiate baseball career with George Mason University and was an immediate standout as one of the top players in the Atlantic 10 Conference. He was an everyday, time-mayor on offense and an electric presence down the field for the Patriots.

His breakout season was in 2025, where Owen Hull registered one of the program’s best seasons. Hull hit .367 and drove in 63 runs, scored 83 and had eight homers. Most importantly, he stole 42 bases, setting his own school record, to lead the ACC.

All of his accomplishments earned him All-Atlantic 10 recognition and the attention of larger schools throughout the nation. After the season Hull joined the University of North Carolina, one of the best college baseball programs in the country.

The trip to Chapel Hill was a smooth one. In Hull’s first season with the Tar Heels, he was chiefly an outfield presence, in both center field and right field. He added speed, power, overall range and baseball smarts to the mix, allowing him to be deployed in every aspect of the position.

Hull had a couple of good games in North Carolina in 2026 to go the whole way to the playoffs. His best moment in the season was when he helped to take the Tar Heels to the College World Series, where he had a pivotal role in the team’s trip to the national championship series.
