Cathy Engelbert was born on 14th November, 1964 in Collingswood New Jersey in a family of five boys and two girls. During her childhood, she played sports: her father, Kurt Engelbert, was a star basketball player at Saint Joseph University and was drafted in 1957 by the Detroit Pistons in the NBA.
