Several coaches, including offensive coordinator Jack Hill, left the program before their names were posted on the transfer portal.
In early 2022, Daniels announced that he would transfer to Louisiana State University (LSU) to play for the LSU Tigers. Jayden injured his ankle in a game against Georgia on 3rd Dec, 2022. Garrett Nussmeier took his place because of his injury.
