Angel Yin won the Junior World Golf Championships when she was only 7-8. She received the honor of California State Women’s Amateur when she was 12 and became the youngest personality to obtain the 2011 U.S. Women’s Amateur honor at 14.
She earned a medal during a U.S. Women’s Amateur competition. She was the youngest figure at the 2012 U.S. Women’s Open, making her the second youngest participant in the event’s history. Then in 2015, she stood for the Junior Solheim Cup.
Professional Career
Angel Yin was counted in the list of top-5 at least five times in 2017. Juli Inkster, the captain of the Solheim Cup, noticed her vibrant personality, so Yin was picked as the “captain’s pick” for the 2017 Solheim Cup. Eventually, she became the youngest personality in both teams, her own golf team and her Solheim Cup team. There, she scored 1.5 points out of three matches.
Then came her professional victory for the first time when she won the Omega Dubai Ladies Classic on 9th December 2017. Angel Yin started the 2019’s season by tying for fourth in the ISPS Handa Women’s Australian Open on 27th February 2019.
