Sophia Thomalla was born on 6th October 1989 in East Berlin, East Germany. Her parents Simone Thomalla and Andre Vetters were both actors. Sophia spent her early childhood in Berlin until the age of seven when she moved to Cologne with her mother. Later they shifted to Kleinmach before finally settling down in Gelsenkirchen.
